Trouble logging in & staying there

I'd love to participate in the forum.

When I use the link emailed me when I registered, I go to the forum as if I'm logged in.

As soon as I go elsewhere, for instance "Home page" it logs me out.

When I go to log back in, first my "thank you for logging in kydave" page shows briefly, then switches over to the forum home page but logs me out.

Something is a problem behind the scenes. Or if I'm missing a step, please tell me.

    Thank you!!

    Dave

Somewhere in all that should be a little square box to click that says "keep me logged in" or something like that.

When you are on the main page click log in, fill in your user name and password, click that box and hit home.

In the upper right(ish) under the header and ads you should see a Welcome: username and your stats.

I have that same issue when I get a new computer and that generally works for me. Once it says Welcome, strakill I bookmark it.

I had a similar problem and solved it by paying attention to the login using the secure version with the lock in the URL vs the http(without the s). The secure version keeps me logged in.

Thanks Gents! I went over to Chrome instead of Edge on my same computer. It allowed me to log in and (so far) stay logged in.

            kydave,

There is also another way to bypass it and it's easier, but if what you've got working is working, keep this as a back up. I put it in this thread, posting number 21:

            Sapper
            --Magazines for Sig Sauer P6
            --Walther P-38. Prefer Pre 1945
            --Luger P08
