Website Logs Out As I Navigate

Good evening - I've been having problems when I sign in with "firefox" as my browser. I sign it, it says, "thanks for signing in" but then it comes to the forum and I'm not signed in.

I switched browsers to "chrome" and from time to time I am able to sign in, but even in "chrome" if I navigate to "home" to search a different forum topic, or try to comment, the system asks me to sign in again, and again.

- completely locked out and cannot log in with firefox

- intermittent log in with chrome ok, but if I navigate to different forum, it signs me out, and when I sign in again, it appears as if I'm getting in, but I'm not.

Is there a glitch going on? Am I missing something?

It's been my experience that If you click on any of the blue taskbars up top, it boots you out, your best bet is to go back with the arrow or click on where it says "calguns.net" on the top left to navigate to the index, this has been talked about, essentially it's a glitch after they did an update.

I see. But I'm still kind of confused when I sign in, it says, "thank you for signing in [my name]" then it redirects me back to the website page that asks me to sign in again. Weird...

You're logged in under https and clicking links to the unsecure version http (sans "s").

Try to identify the links that route to the non-https-secure version and avoid those.

I have the same issue. I sign on to the site with:

https://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/index.php

It is secure and I am logged in, no problem.

I can select New Posts in the second blue menu band, look at new posts, no problem.

If I select Home in the first blue band, it signs me out and I need to log in again.

Any suggestions?

same here. i don't even click "home" anymore. i just hit the <- button instead.

Same issue for the last... year? maybe on my end. Also sometimes my inbox locks me out and keeps logging out.
