How to delete old posts?

I have an old post in the long guns for sale forum. Because I had to list everything in one posting there are a bunch of guns that have been sold and some that are not. It's confusing and I'd like to just delete the whole thing and start over. Is there some way to do that? Also, one suggestion... you should separate the shotguns from the rifles in the long guns forum. Thanks - JC

Go to edit for the body of the post, advanced edit for the title.

Delete the parts you want to. Update the rest.

Change everything to kitty videos if you just want to nuke it.

First of all you have to be in the Calguns 1.0 or 1.1 version. You can't delete anything in the iPhone version of Calguns.

Next, to delete everything is impossible because you'll still need a thread title, even if you go into the advanced editing section which is a button you can hit at the bottom of the little white screen where you're doing the normal editing.

You have to leave some type of title and some type of thing in the first post.
It won't let you delete everything.
So type in "gone" or something similar as that edited thread title. And then delete everything by hand of the first post except for one short word like... moved or edited or gone etc.

Marketplace Rules:
7) Edit the title to show your items have been 'Sold'.
Once you have sold the item(s) in your classified ad that you have in the Marketplace, edit the title so it's obvious that the item(s) have been sold'. Do not create a post just to say your item is sold. The moderating team does not delete threads simply because a transaction is completed, so please do not ask.

Edit the ad to indicate that the ad is "closed", then start a new ad.
The ad that is "closed" will then be closed and cleaned up.

Thank you for the suggestions. I have two quick questions: 1) Which is the correct marketplace sub-forum for an Olympic match air rifle? and 2) Once a for sale thread gets marked "CLOSED" can I just start a new one for the same item(s)?

1. WTS ads for imitation firearms (airguns, bb guns, airsoft, paint markers, blank firing only devices, replicas, etc) are placed in the Marketplace: Private Non-Firearms Related Sales forum.
