Password login loop on any and all browsers

Have had an issue on any browser tried where you enter your username and password and it loops right back to the login/password request. This has been happening for awhile now and it normally occurs when you try to go to a specific group from the "Home" selection.

I have tried with Edge, Opera, Chrome.

If I click on "New Posts" no problem. Any help?

Go to your settings. Delete cookies for the website you are trying to access. There may be 2 different ones. Delete both. Go back to website. Refresh it. Enter user name and password again.

Didn't work, I'm not sure if it's a website software issue or something but there has been many people here complaining about this issue, it seems to only occur when you click on the "Home" section up top.

I had this happen a few times in the past month. On both Chrome, Mozilla, Edge, and Safari, they all detected the website as unsecure and kept me on the loop for five minutes before logging in. No idea what this randomly started happening. So far so good though.

There are 5 links at the top that are http only. Clicking any of those will create this behavior.

I normally click the circled link "calguns.net" to get back to the home page. Which is the same as the string I posted above to bookmark.



I recently asked mods to change the "BECOME A CGN/CGSSA CONTRIBUTOR!" to https and they did, so the links should probably be updated.

Also, there is probably some things on the backend kes needs to do to fix this but maybe there's some issue. See recent suggestion here: https://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/....php?t=1771819

That was already attempted and if on one browser that may have been a solution but not on three separate.

This was my solution, I went in to my bookmarks and added an "s" to the end of http for secure. So far I have been able to resume normal function. So logging in at the very beginning with the https mod was the solution. Thank you!
