    HTTPS

I notice this site uses http instead of https. I run my own web site and upgrading from Not Secure http to Secure https is easy and free.
Let's Encrypt is a free, automated, and open Certificate Authority brought to you by the nonprofit Internet Security Research Group (ISRG). Read all about our nonprofit work this year in our 2025 Annual Report.

    will issue TLS certs gratis.
If you need help I'm sure this thread will serve, or you can PM me, or just go to letsencrypt and suss it out yourselves. Would like to see https here though.

I see, calguns.net supports both, it does automatically forward http to https. When I search for "calguns" it takes me here:

When I click that I do get redirected to https.

      Sorry for not checking.

The main reason you might see 'not secure' even after the https redirect, is because some page elements will not be https. Users can embed photos in posts from any external source and often they are not linked with https. Same for some banner ads etc. If your browser sees any http elements in a https page, it might throw the warning (most browsers) even though the cert is signed, unexpired and valid etc, and you are loading the site with https.
