    My iTrader rating

    Hello Admins,
I was wondering how one acquires an iTrader rating. I've already bought two handguns via PPT from other Calgunners, but since they haven't rated the transaction, I still have zeros?

Am I supposed to request them to rate me, or how does this work? I don't want other members to not do business with me in the future based on my lack of a rating.

They should be nice guys and do it without a request but I would ask them.
Just say you’d like to build up your rating.

It also helps tremendously if you leave a rating for them first and then they respond more than if you do not give them one.
You have not done any apparently.

I have had people request that I make it first just to make it positive and then they reply in kind

Remember you have to remove the S from HTTPS when copying the URL from your deal in order to get it to work and also fill in all the boxes including the optional one.

I always ask at FTF/PPT or PM if seller wants rating,
and posting a rating for them doesn't mean they'll
post buyer rating. If I'm the seller, I request a rating.

Even then doesn't guarantee you'll get one...

You can request them to provide an iTrader feedback . Another good way to remind them is to give them iTrader feedback first . I have dealt with several new members lately and I gave them the iTrader feedback immediately after we closed the transactions.

You haven't left them feedback either. You might try doing that and seeing if it jogs their memory and prompts them to reciprocate.

Also, leaving feedback is not exactly straightforward here. Some people just can't manage it.

Whenever I am meeting someone face to face to finish a deal, I always tell them at the end that I will be leaving them feedback. It also helps to remind them.

In spite of that, I am still missing ~100 feedback from users. And that is a typical ratio it seems among high feedback users, perhaps 33% of their deals do not result in feedback left for them because people can't figure it out or they don't think it's important. So you are not alone....

You can always leave them feedback and they might do the same for you
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

As someone who's bought and sold and doesn't care about the rating, I always appreciate when the other person sends me a message reminding me to submit feedback. I don't mind that it's important to others, I just forget because it's not something I care about. In short: send a reminder.

I missed a lot of iTrading ratings because the other party didn’t know how to it.

Maybe both of the sellers were Longhorns alumni

Go to the thread at the top of the computer screen, www.calguns.etc, copy the URL.

Click on the buyer/seller iTrader rating upper right of the post.

Paste the URL, then just delete the "s" from HTTPS.

Fill in all the boxes, including the optional one.
