It is chambered for the less common 7.62x54R ammo, the HD18 rifle is the ideal option if you're wanting to add an SVD / Dragunov to your collection. FEG Defense is now the builder of the Hungarian Dragunov-18 Sporting Rifle. FEG takes this rifle from cradle to the grave. FEG Defense designed, manufactured, assembled, & QA'd the rifle.
