What's your experience with Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk's Free Movies on the Beach?

I know this isn't firearms related but I didn't want to put this in the Off Topic forum cause that's all of California and this isn't very relevant to Calgunners outside of the Bay Area.

As the title suggests, I'm looking for people's personal experiences at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk's Free Movies on the Beach - https://beachboardwalk.com/movies/.

    How crowded does it get?
How early should you get there?
What's parking like? Is it crazier than normal?
It says admission is free but is that really true? Is it one of those things where you can watch the movie for free but you really have to pay for admission to the boardwalk in order to get down to the beach?
If you've been, would you go back? Or would you advise people to steer clear?

    Thanks in advance!

LOL, I lived there when the filming was being done and watched them do multiple takes when doing the scene on the beach / bandstand. Lifetime ago.

Dirty Harry paid a visit in 1983 too, where the town was renamed to San Paulo.

We don't pass it to our children in the bloodstream; we have to fight for it and protect it, and then hand it to them so that they shall do the same, or we're going to find ourselves spending our sunset years telling our children and our children's children about a time in America, back in the day, when men and women were free." - Ronald Reagan, 1961
