    LODI GUN EXPO

I have a flyer that says there will be a gun expo at the grape festival grounds Nov. 21-22.
The problem is I checked the grape festival events web site, and this event is not listed.
Anyone have any information on this?
    Flyer says "mountain aire productions"?

I've seen a bunch of small posters around town listing it as the 21st-22. I'll be out if town during the show on a pheasant hunt in South Dakota so I'm going to miss it this year.

Lodi Gun Expo Nov. 21/22 2015

Let me start by saying just saw the post, really cool to see CG members talking about our upcoming show, I still have a few of our promo tickets left so DEPUTYBILL, darkwater, and TruEdge (sorry we'll miss you, but maybe you know someone who is interested) PM me mailing addresses and I will make sure to get some tickets your way.

TruEdge I believe you are mistaken in regards to attending last year (maybe thinking of Stockton?-in which case you are absolutely right in regards to "wasn't so great") there as not been a gun show/expo at the Lodi Grape Festival Grounds for some time, don't quote me but somewhere in the neighborhood of 10+ years.

We're striving to be different from what has become California's typical gun show, which unfortunately seems to be on a steady downward decline-except on the pricing! Our goal is to put the show back in Gun Shows, making it a reasonably priced event for the whole family to enjoy. Beyond our great vendors we have lots of entertainment planned including gunslinger shows, live music, beer and wine garden, games and activities for the kids-including the NWTF Daisy educational shooting range, and much more.

Check out our site for additional information regarding times/pricing/attractions

and if you have any additional questions I am more than happy to answer them here.

Thanks again guys, and we'll see you in November!

Now that I think of it your probably right about the Stockton show and yes it was definitly not so great.

Really nice to see more shows coming to this part of the valley and kudos for offering out the promo tickets. After reading about the entertainment and such and visiting your site im actually disappointed now that I'm going to miss it! I really like the fact the kids are getting involved in this as well. Just got my daughter her first BB gun and would love to take her to something like this. Good luck with the event I hope everything works out for the best and I can come to the next one. Oh and welcome to calguns

Thanks for the information and the ticket offer. I will pass, I hope to attend and will just pay at the gate.
Do you have any local FFL dealers lined up to be there to do transfers?
Also, I did recheck the festival website, and this event is now listed.
I hope to be there, and wish you great success!

Sounds interesting. What's the word on vendors that will be there? Always nice to find a non-Code of the West/Crossroads gun show where you may actually run into some decent C&Rs.

Welcome to CalGuns, M.A.P. I appreciate the promo tickets, but I don't mind paying at the gate if it looks like I can make it, as I would hate to have you waste free tickets on a possible no-show. Hope you get a good crowd for this first show at this location!

Lodi Gun Expo Nov. 21/22 2015

TruEdge - Thank you for the kind wishes on the upcoming show, sorry we're going to miss you this year, but hopefully we'll be back in the spring and you can attend that one. Also great to hear about your daughter beginning the journey into the shooting sports world. I truly believe that gaining the interest and educating as many as we possibly can is the quickest route to getting this state back on track in regards to 2A.

DEPUTYBILL - Much appreciated for the candid approach on the tickets, hopefully we will see you this November. Regarding the transfer dealers I don't want to speak in absolutes as we still have pending contracts, but to try to give you some idea we have invited every local dealer and even branched out to S. Elk Grove, Galt, Stockton, and the Foothills in an effort to make sure that our attendees have a myriad of options at the show.

Gutter - Same to you regarding the vendor situation, but I will say, at this point it does appear that all spaces will sell out. I know we have a few vendors focusing on the older stuff, one gentleman has picked up and entire block of tables (10) for just that, so hopefully there will be a great selection of C&R type firearms for our attendees. Having been involved in gun shows over the years and coming from the retail firearms background I have seen all too often attendees being let down by the lack of firearms present at a show (especially in the recent climate where at other shows patrons are spending upwards of $25 between parking and admission just to get in the door!) A lack of firearms is definitely not our goal, after all it is a GUN expo . We also have been toying with the idea of including in some of our print advertising a "call-to-action" so to speak to the general public-informing them that if they do have any old firearms that they are no longer interested in owning that we have a venue/platform where they can bring their firearms down to and potentially find an interested party for them. Between all this hopefully we will be able to provide exactly what you and many other attendees are searching for.

darkwater - Again, much appreciated on your candidness in regards to promotional tickets, we'll definitely find a good home for them. Hopefully you can attend at least one of the days, the more like minded individuals the better! Thanks for the warm wishes on the upcoming show.

Gryff - Sorry you can't make it this year, but please keep us in mind for next year.

                        slayer61 - We'll see you there buddy!

echo1 - You're absolutely right, but hopefully we can make up for lost time ha! We'll see you in November.

Once again guys, I am more than happy to field any questions you may have regarding the upcoming event, It's pretty much around the clock at this point in preparation so my response times might be a little slow but I'll definitely answer as soon as I possibly can.

Also you might check the website for information:

Thanks to everyone for the positive comments and warm wishes, we look forward to seeing those that can make it out!

I have avoided gun shows around here for a while now but yours sounds like fun.
I will be there and will bring others lol.

Wow this is great for so many reasons, plus it's in my backyard so to speak.

Great alternative than going to the Reno show.

Maybe us local Calgunners should meet up for a beverage.

And the last gun show at the Grape Festival grounds was 12 years ago.
