This course is not for novice or first time shooters. The ideal student is one who has trained before, takes their training seriously and is intimately familiar with their gear and the operation of their firearm. This course will focus on dynamic movement necessary to counter a deadly threat, as well as multiple target acquisition under stress, off hand and off position shooting techniques, bad breath distance shooting, speed re-loads under stress, incapacitation re-loads, scenario based shooting and baricade shooting.
Equipment requirements:
-Semi-auto pistol with a minimum of three magazines
-QUALITY tactical or duty style holster and spare magazine pouch
-350 rounds of ball ammunition
-Eye and hearing protection
-Ball cap
-Range appropriate clothing and footwear (No shorts, sandals, tank tops or flip-flops.)
-Water source
-Sunblock (optional)
-Lunch (optional)
-Knee and elbow pads (optional)
Pre-registration:
-Cost: $200.00 per single shooter
(Groups of 5 or more receive $25.00 off their course fee. Course is limited to first ten pre-paid students)
Payment may be made by calling Senior NRA Law Enforcement Instructor Gary Underhill at (775) 622-7009 to pay securely with a credit card. Once registered, please indicate "GOING" on this course link.
