COE wait time?

Hello all, I just sent in my COE application and was curious as to how long it will take the state to process it. Has anyone gotten theirs recently?

I just did my renewal and it took around 2-3 weeks

COE generally runs around 3-4 weeks for initial and 2-3 for renewal. One of the few things the state does in a reasonable time.

3 weeks is awesome compared to almost 90 days In years past, but why isn't it 10 days or even less? The parameters for a COE are the same for just buying a gun.

Renewal was 2 weeks this year, 5 weeks (and a call) last year, so they must be caught-up.

Did mine in June. I had it in hand 9 days after i mailed it.
