Just got a notice from the local PD that I owe $288.00 for the "initial and renewal application fee" increase by passage of AB391. WTH?? Did the renewal fee just go up from $10 to $300? Retroactively too. I've already paid my initial fee of $195 to process my application and my renewal fee of $10. How do they justify another $288 to do nothing?
