Note to customers: DO NOT WAIT TILL DAY 30 to PICKUP. If DOJ system is down you will need to pay for another DROS. I'm guessing their answer to my question above will be that YOU have to pay again for their computer problems.

Amazing, how a government agency that requires you to use a faulty system, will not take reasonability for it.

This does not make sense. I had an issue in which the person was buying C&R firearms as a PPT, but the DROS system is broken and there was no waiting period exemption for that. I called and they manually marked it as delivered, which means that when the DROS system is down, you should be able to call and give them the DROS number and they can mark it as delivered.

In other words they don't want to talk about it and don't want anything in writing.

Wow... do they really have no legal obligation to fix a known issue and not give any alternative to a problem they have sole responsibility for? They are essentially denying delivery of a firearm for no legal reason. There has to be a plan B when they know their plan A doesn't work all the time. Their DROS system has been going down WAY too often lately to even be remotely labeled as reliable.

If my gun was as reliable as their system is, I'd throw that Sh*t away!

What are you going to do about it? If you sue, it takes years and a lot of money, but it is your money and tax payer money, not their money, so what do they care?
