Anyone carrying Sig P226 Tacops for Duty?

Might switch from P229 to P226 Tacops and add taclight. Originally thought of Sig Traditional 1911 Tacops. Feedbacks would be greatly appreciated.

I carry the 226R with SRT and X-300 and love it. Hard to go wrong with a P226.

I have the Blackwater model. Like it. A lot. 21 rounds in the gun. U will need extra 15 rounders for the sam brown. Srt is best in show. Very accurate. Fiber optic frontsight has been solid. Add a Surefire light on it and go to war.

I have carried the TacOps for quite some time now. Never had a problem with it or my TLR-2 attached to it. A damn fine piece.

I also carry a 226R E2 w/ the SF X300. Great gun. It feels like it has the SRT. I also have the 229R E2 w/ SRT w/ the SF X300, just a smaller version for concealed carry.

Currently carrying the P226R in 9mm with the E2 grip with SRT and surefire x300.

I added the trijicon HD sights to mine as well.

Some of my partners that carry the TacOps have mag holders for the 20 rounders on their belts, so no 15 round mags at all.

Good to point out. I just had a not so great experience with 20's on my belt. Kinda slopped around a lot so I switched to 15's. Admittedly I could not find a Bianchi mag pouch that would hold the 20's without being so tight it ran the risk of bending the feed lips so I used an Eagle mag pouch set up.

Good to hear feedbacks. Is there any issues with the non Mec Gar mags the early once came with?

In regards to mag pouch, I will be using the open pouch instead of the conventional kind and maybe a Ted Blocker 4 inch drop 90 degree holster fit with tac light.

There has been some negative internet swarm around the non mec gar mags but mine came with them and I have shot the snot out of them without issue.

I have the regular Sig marked mags, Mec Gars and the ones from Checkmate Industries which are being supplied with new guns. They all work fine for me and haven't had any problems.
