Looking for ffls that deal in “AW’s” for duty use in northern ca.

I am looking for a few additional dealers that deal with AW’s with letter. I know of sac black rifle and river city gun exchange. But looking for others in the area or within 2 hours of Sacramento.

I’m looking to get a letter to register my m5e1 as an aw, but don’t want to wait 30 days for the ffl to acquire it to resell it back to me. I’ve heard there are a few stores in Bay Area that are in and out once you have a letter from your agency.

You might give LC Action in San Jose a call. It's just ~2 blocks off of I-880 on N. 1st Street, but consider I-80 to I-680 then get there rather than using I-80 the entire way, again, depending on what's happening with traffic.

I personally don't know what FFL type/class is needed, but I recall they used to sell unmodified rifles to LEOs w/letter.
My former LE employer didn't issue rifle letters, however, other departments did.

On a good traffic day and time, Sacramento to San Jose is ~2 hours away.
