        Talked to Bill today ,,,,not for too long ........


        Seems the neurostimulator they implanted in this operation went south

        So they had to open him up again and remove

        They can't install another / too much scar tissue and nerve damage

        He is still at Loma Limda

                  Damn, that just sucks. Poor guy, I feel bad for him and all of the pain he has had to endure.

                        Got a message from an old friend of Bill's that stopped by to see him today

                        He is still in a lot of pain
                        Not sure when he will be going home

                            Bill and I go back to 1978 when we worked the LA County Men’s Central Jail together. We later worked Lakewood, Industry, Walnut, and San Dimas Stations together over the years. One of the best cops I ever had the pleasure to work with in my 32 year career. The job certainly takes its toll on the body, that’s for sure. We even went to physical therapy at the same location at one point.

                            I stopped by to visit him today. He’s in a lot of pain. He’s got a pretty good tolerance for pain too, but this is really hitting him hard.

                            I’m praying for him to get some pain relief soon.

                                Update

                                I went to Loma Linda yesterday to visit Bill

                                He is better , But still requires help to get out of bed
                                And help to get to the can

                                Between shoulder ( rotator cup ), Knee problems ,,noropathy in legs
                                He has a Lot of pain issues
                                He has been in Loma Linda since last Friday .......................
                                And still trying to get things straightened out with Doctor's and F-N Insurance

                                But on a positive note ::

                                He has grown a nice Beard
                                Reminded me of the former Gorton Fisherman Guy
