Looking for San Diego Co. Probation Officers..have questions

So I work in a uniformed non-sworn position with a San Diego area PD, but lately I have been doing a lot of thinking about applying to Probations next time they open up hiring...entry level of course.

Anyone here current or former SD Probations officers? I'd love to hear about your job and your experiences.
