North Idaho - Selling opportunities?

I'm in Hayden and have sold some things locally via the Northwest Firearms forum. I have a bunch of types of milsurp ammo I want to sell, but with the current state of shipping regulations and cost, I'm definitely going to limit it to FTF sales. With that in mind, do other guys in this area recommend the CDA or Post Falls gun shows as a venue for that? Have you found a better way of doing it here? I've found that selling here takes a lot longer, no doubt because the pool of interested buyers is smaller, which is saying something because I moved from a small rural area of CA but still had quicker results there.

Hi neighbor, I'm also in Hayden. The next local show will be in CDA at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds on Oct. 3 & 4, 2026. Do you have enough to sell to justify a table? If so, and if table spaces are available, set up is on Oct. 2, 2026 from noon to 6pm. Let me know. I have a Hornady Lock-N-Load AP Progressive Reloading Press with a Hornady case feeder and a Mr.Bullet feeder that I would like to sell. Similar to your situation, the Hornady is to large and bulky to ship so I'm looking for a local buyer.

Thank you, sir. Yes, I have more than enough across multiple calibers to justify a table, the only problem is that dealer tables for that show are sold out. Same for the Post Falls show in early December. Beyond that, it's too close to the holidays and I'd think people would be less likely to spend money on anything but gifts. Looks like this stuff might need to wait for 2027.
