Oh and families taking the dog for a walk on the trails, get called in pretty regularly. I've been listening to the scanner and the shoplifting and DV calls have increased exponentially, around here. Not to mention the 100+MPH stops CHP and some of the locals are making.

There is some jerk who drives up and then down the street at around 1:00am these past few nights reving his engine and waking everybody up. I'm starting to wonder how a 300gr .44 Magnum round would affect the performance of his engine.

Sadly I will never be able to conduct this experiment but hopefully one night the cops will catch him because it will be a nice fat ticket for them, possibly even an arrest if they decide he's driving recklessly and all crimes in the entire state are upgraded a level now during the disaster.

There used to be a group of a dozen morons that did that in the office building parking lot across the street. The office building was empty so those idiots never got challenged.
