CRPA Dinner at the CHFC - lots of guns

The Compton Hunting and Fishing Club is hosting a CRPA Fundraiser Dinner on September 14. Yes, it is barely in Compton - the southern property line is the boundary with Long Beach. It has been there since 1946, and sits at the end of Sportsman Drive, a small street that dead-ends into a huge Edison field. We have about 3 acres of grass and shade trees, along with our clubhouse, fry shack, archery range, etc. Anyone who has been there always remarks on how wonderful the site is. No problems at any event since 1946.

The flyer for the event is attached. There are about a dozen guns as raffle or game prizes, as well as a lot of other prizes. No one leaves our club hungry. The address is 1625 Sportsman Drive, Compton.

I have read many posts on this forum from people who say they support the CRPA but no longer support the NRA. Here is your chance to support the CRPA and win prizes (even firearms!) Let's help them to overturn the standard cap (high cap) magazine ban, ammo purchase restrictions, excise tax on guns and ammo and more!

It will be a nice day on Saturday with a high of 79. Come on out and support the CRPA! Play games - win guns.

If you attend, come say to me in the kitchen.

We had a very good turnout - around 100 People, I think. I was too busy in the kitchen to check the actual headcount. Maria from CRPA was very pleased. Hopefully, it raised a good amount of money for the CRPA. Thanks to all who did come out!
