I mail or drop mine off. I just hope there are some candidates worth voting for

Just get out and vote. In Contra Costa County in the last election, only about 20% turned out to vote. If the conservatives had gotten out and voted we might have had a different outcome.

I was watching Rich Baris/"People's Pundit" on a recent midterm forecast video (Rumble, about 38 minutes in), and he is saying that it is expected this will be a high-turnout election generally in CA.

I have a friend that says to vote last minute. Either machine or ballot. Gives the Dems less time to figure out how many votes they need to fix the election.

Thing is, if only a small number of right-leaning voters do that, the effect is basically a fart in a thunderstorm.

In AZ with the leftist mouthbreather SoS also on the ballot, I think Kari Lake is smart to encourage her people to vote late. The question is, is it worth the hassle here? At this point I think it is questionable in CA at some levels, but in local races there are some leftists running for various things, like school boards, and I think the state vote fraud machine is less willing to perpetrate fraud in those races.

Alleged photo of someone with a hidden license plate doing ballot stuffing in AZ.

There is a group claiming to work for election integrity. Their Web site is amateur hour, but they do have a lot of links. Reading just a bit, one gets a sense that there are good reasons to vote in-person in CA.

                best solution.

no one votes. then the fraud will be really obvious. keep your ballots, then if you check your vote status after the election and it says you voted, you now have proof there is voter fraud occurring.

There have been some attempts in AZ to get back to paper ballots but I have not followed the issue closely enough to know whether my county or the state of CA as a whole differs significantly from the current situation in AZ.

Is there a wise way to make an absentee ballot here in CA function like an in-person, vote-on-election-day kind of ballot? I've been voting absentee so long that I do not know what happens if I show up at a polling place on election day with (or without) my absentee ballot. The videos and materials posted by my county are not real helpful for understanding on a practical level how that would work. In this sceptic tank of a state, I'm not even sure it is worth the trouble to try the strategy that Kari Lake and her people were encouraging.

What are you doing to make sure your CA vote isn't cancelled by fraud?
i'm planning on voting in person for precisely this reason. the voting place is near where i live and open for early dropoff of the ballot starting tomorrow, so hopefully short lines.

Realistically, I think the party on the left is ready to manufacture as many ballots as they need in order to steer the outcome of select races. But this isn't a precise process, where some shot-callers in a smoky room ring up their people, "we need 4500 more ballots in this race" and someone logs into the voting machine server and makes some changes. For all I know there may be some of that, but the different counties use different systems, so it seems far more plausible that they use whatever they can put their hands to, including stuffing ballots into drop boxes, ballot harvesting, and maybe they do have some people who log in to a server and make changes.

But if I drop off my ballot at a polling center, or vote in-person, or even if I return my ballot by mail on Monday November 07, by delaying the tabulation of my vote, it may be possible that I make an infinitesimally small impediment for their cheating. For sure, they would be happy if I voted early, or-- even better-- was discouraged by all their massive fraud efforts and didn't vote at all.

In local races that are too insignificant to make systemic efforts to steer by fraud, it may be that my vote could make a difference.
