Whom do you think will be in McCain's Presidential Cabinet?

If John McCain wins the presidential election, whom do you think would be selected to fill the seats in the cabinet?

Please keep it civil and list names of people who'd be appointed and what position they'd be filling only.

most cabinet apportionments tend to be either career bureaucrats or relative unknowns. no one with future national political aspirations would probably accept a cabinet post.

Eh, unless it was high profile like state or defense or something. Still, you gotta keep away from ANY kind of scandal, and, after being successful at that, that doesn't usually set you up for a presidential position, maybe VP. Or they could go back to being a senator from their state or something.

Lets look back at recent presidents.

Bush II. No big names in the cabinet except Colin Powell. A couple of governors (Ridge and Thompson), but really everyone else (except Ashcroft) were relative no names and career bureaucrats.

Clinton: Bentsen and Aspin were the only notables, and Aspin was a huge dud, all but forced out by members of his own party.

Bush I: Baker is pretty much the only notable at the time, although a number of his cabinet appointees did well after wards. Maybe showing he picked well.

Reagan: Haig and Schultz probably the biggest names.

Carter: Muskie was really the only notable in the bunch.

Except for Liddy Dole I don't recall any of the cabinet appointments having much of a political career after their cabinet service.
