  • New memo a green light for manufacturers?

Is the new memo a green light for manufacturers that states "these are not assault weapons you can lawfully sell your product here"?

No it isn't a green light.. as the DOJ has already resorted to intimidation with several big name dealers NOT to sell OLL's to CA

Even so, technically they wouldn't be able to stop this until some kind of legislation or actual illegal confiscation of all lowers waiting to be dros'd was implemented. Even with their threats to FFL's and manufactures, we still have lowers and heck, even SB23 compliant fully built rifles comming in to this day. I say we keep bringing them in, get more people into this, overwhelm the state with these receivers to show the legislators and the public that we want AW's in the PRK. They can't bust all of us and if they try, it'll definately be a huge fiasco on their part. I believe we can win if we keep doing what we're doing until they physically stop us. We don't even have to buy uppers right now, just lowers and mothball em for a rainy day project.

No, Harrott was the green light in 2001. Nobody saw it (or at least acted on it) untill 2003/4 or 5 or so.

Those who still can't see it probally have to be reassured in the waining twilight that it's OK, the sun really will come up again tomorow.
