Did you miss the link to Lautenberg's proposed bill?

And yet, here a scant 2.5 days after the incident, the media are screaming for gunpowder controls and Lautenberg is trotting out his version of exactly that. Interesting because what has Boston got to do with gunpowder... unless you have some inside knowledge or are just wildly speculating while waiting for lab results to come back?

"False Panic"? "They'll never do that"??

Let the headlines speak for themselves. It doesn't really matter WHY does it? They are doing it all the same and the end result is the same to you and me.

Where you been new guy? It's been nuts in the reloading world since the day after the Election, and then the day after tragedy in Connecticut.

I've got enough ingredients to last me three lifetimes. And anyway, I don't intend to spend more than another 3 years in this shiitehole of a communist state.

              The proposed bill is federal.

Ha, I just didn't think the state of the reloading world was quite as bad as ammo in terms of prices/availability.

Needless to say, prices and shortages are only bound to get worse after this.

What's the deal with gunpowder? Explosives can be made from lots of materials.

Ask Texas what fertilizer can do.

The silver lining to this is that Father Time has caught up with the legislator in question. Mr Times associate, Mr Grim, is doing a followup visit to be announced soon as per numerous news articles.

No. I don't miss a lot. I have heard about Lautenberg's bill and all I said was that you should be aware of that thread before posting. I made no recommendations, approvals, endorsements or anything else.

                          Well, what do you know...

It's now "later this week" - specifically Friday - and it looks like they are after a guy in his late teens/early 20's... The media is screaming for new controls on gunpowder and Lautenberg introduced legislation for... wait for it... new controls on gunpowder.

The world is a strange place, isn't it?
