Okay I tried looking this up, but there's just too much information running around for the lowers so I have some specific questions:
1) If I were to purchase an off list AR lower, would I have to build it up before DOJ turns it into an AW, or can I just start stockpiling the lowers and register them after they're AWs?
2) I would like one in 9mm. Could I just purchase a conversion kit for it after it's an AW, or would I have to build it up specifically as a 9mm?
3) Well, I saw an answer for this but it might have been updated: are there any .308 lowers on the off list that are worth picking up?
