Has anyone here tried the voluntary registration for any of their oll's with the doj? Im just wondering if an actually registration through them would have any effect if one was ever arrested on an OLL charge.

There was another thread just like this a couple of days ago - talk about registering rifles (not OLL's).
General consensus is that its pointless. Ill find the thread and edit this post with the link

They just suck in the data via data entry - hell, that might even be farmed out to a contractor and not DOJ staff.
I'm betting they wouldn't know it was indeed OLL related. They just key in the info and it's stored. I don't think anyone evaluates it.
