    CRPA CA Endorsements

Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

    A whole lota FTAQ there:

    FTAQ

Both Jesuit Jerry B and Meg-a-bucks Whitman are included with the questionnaire's non-responding crowd of politicians...
They both stated some degree of 2nd amendment support in the recent past, so why not fill out the questionnaire, Jerry and Meg??

Jerry Brown likely didn't complete the questionnaire because his responses would likely infuriate his base. It's probably the same for Meg Whitman - and that should be worrisome.

I was intrigued that the Republican for my State Senate District did not complete his questionnaire. I sent his campaign an e-mail suggesting that since his Democrat opponent was graded a "B" he needs to make clear that he strongly supports the RKBA or he may lose my vote (that happens to be true).

For my Assembly seat the Republican got an "A" so we're good to go there. I was going to send an e-mail asking the Democrat opponent to address the issue - but his campaign appears to be pretty much dead and his ideas are even more fascist than the norm for Democrat politicos in Kalifornia! Not even a campaign website that I could find or an e-mail or a phone number. Just a P.O. Box.

Edit: found an e-mail and a physical address. E-mail sent that said the following:
      Dear Mr. Weintz:

It was brought to my attention that you did not complete the California Rifle and Pistol Association questionnaire with regard to hunting issues and the Right to Keep and Bear Arms.

Since I like to have options when it comes to voting in every election I'd really appreciate it if you would let me know if you support the Constitutional right to armed self-defense for the citizens of California.

      Thank you,

        Interesting:

First, the NRA Political Victory Fund does not seem to have updated their California endorsements page.

But it is interesting nonetheless to note that the NRAPVF rated Anna Caballero an "F" whereas CRPA gives her a "B" and endorses her. I'm not at all sure I understand why there would be that big a difference in their ratings. . .

Have they ever published these on time?
