In spite of the request from the CalGuns leadership, there are gunnies out there that are either not aware or will not heed such a request.
Personally, I think gun buy backs should be loudly and regularly protested-
1) Buy backs in gun free school zones should be documented and the circumstances and video archived for future action against 626.9
2) Buy backs in those areas outside the gun free school zones should have a capitalistic alternative booth for firearms appraisal for the purpose of demanding or offering fair market value.
3) and when the time is appropriate, there should be a first and second amendment demonstration- that the people will or should not sell out their right to defend themselves for $50, $100, or $200
