Selling handgun ammunition on the board

This might be in the wrong place, but it is about the legal side of selling ammunition.

When one sells handgun ammo in the exchange below, is there a requirement to verify age.

If so, how is the best way to accomplish this when going by mail.

Is a statement of age enough?

A copy of DL?

Most online sellers require a copy of the DL.

Theres no requirement so to speak..But one would be really hanging theyre "rear end" out by shipping without any confirmation of the recipients age..No good can come of that! A matching copy of someones DL to theyre paypal wouldnt be a bad idea and of they refuse then they dont need the ammo that bad.
