    ca legal saiga shotgun possible?

looking at how the saiga shotguns are designed. i'm pretty sure the 410g and 20g use the standard ak trigger guard and latch. would it be legal to own if it had a magazine that was not detachable? fixed mag and a lever catch like the krebs to hold open?

the 12g version has a different magazine latch. would it be legal if it was only bolt action? so it does not cycle another round? i was thinking it would be cool if it had a bolt that went where the gas regulator went so it would cut the gas completely off and it would require a tool and the original gas regulator to work in semi mode.

i know saigas are not that popular. to me they're kinda in the grey area. i probably won't buy a saiga at all. i was just interested in what you guys thought.

ahh. i wish i had made this a poll. well i have been reading more about the saiga 12 and there is talk about making them a DD destructive device.

probably best to just get a benelli m4. but i do like how the original saiga 12 from russia look.
well i would probably get one if i ever move or in a few years after a lot of people get their saiga rifles. so the saigas are more common. i'm not brave enough to be the first one.

Don't bother. You can have a tube gun that can hold ten rounds and a pistol grip. A fixed mag on a Saiga12/20/410 would be a pain in the butt to deal with.

True true, but a dedicated 3-gunner might still want a Saiga for use out of state...
