    Makes knowingly purchasing a stolen firearm a felony regardless of value.

            Why they will just let them out with no bail and refuse to prosecute or plea it down to a misdemeanor.

                          Because of all the other stolen property they found during the search and statement of the person who sold it to you for which they got immunity from prosecution. You don't really think that the person who sold you stolen property is going to stand up as your character witnesses do you?
