interesting thread @ OC.org WRT possible lawsuit for non resident CA ccw

This guy has a lot going on that seems to have gotten the FUDS in Connecticut in quite a stir, which is fine.
What concerns me is the affect of a lawsuit for non CA resident ccw
    before Nordyke. Any opinions?

"What I ask people regularly, is for them to look beyond the firearm and see the constitution and laws that are being trampled.

I am currently in California and while here have applied for and received the UTAH and FLORIDA permit and have just received, (yesterday), my denial letter after applying for a California "CONCEALED" carry permit.

Off to a local San Diego Attorney to write another check!!"

Nice that he's complaining, I guess. I don't expect he'll have a lot of luck before we get 'shall issue'.

ETA: I didn't see that Peruta is from Connecticut. That drops his chances to zero; so long as CCW is a thing controlled by states, there's no way to compel a state to issue to a citizen of a different state.

He may want to argue that CCW ought to be national, or that every state ought to use the Vermont model (I think that would be a good idea). That doesn't look good, either.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

Wasn't a guy named Jim March doing something along this line some time back?
"Did I say "republic?" By God, yes, I said "republic!" Long live the glorious republic of the United States of America. Damn democracy. It is a fraudulent term used, often by ignorant persons but no less often by intellectual fakers, to describe an infamous mixture of socialism, miscegenation, graft, confiscation of property and denial of personal rights to individuals whose virtuous principles make them offensive." - Westbrook Pegler
