I dont think we need to cause Politicians to have a knee-jerk reaction to our OLL's. We have been doing well. Last thing we want is another move like the Black Panthers made which helped push through further gun legislation.

Good people sleep peaceably in their bed at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Overall decent show got ammo, jerky, free back massage and some unPC stickers..Good times.

What percentage of AWs owners registered their stuff? Any firm numbers?
I ask different Police officers all the time about OLL. When I seem parked or have a free moment, I like to get their opinion on them. They seem not to care and as long as they're compliant with California laws, great. While I have not built OLL rifles, it find the topic very interesting. If these rifles are not illegal, then I believe those of you who wish to enjoy them should do so freely. I have yet to meet a Police officer that said he doesn't care, they're AW's. Not one. All have been very friendly and willing to take the time to visit with me.

This year calguns.net and NRA acheived an excellent degree of cooperation which helped bring success. Threads such as this place that at great risk, IMO.

If you want to FORCE NRA to distance themselves from calguns, promoting reactionary (and illegal) behavior is a great way to do it. We should not, can not and must not engage in such speculation if one expects to work closely with NRA. NRA will not permit itself to be associated with such activities - and all of us here should be protective of the association, if not our own reputations.

Words posted here are meaningful, we know that already. As the "OLL" website, much attention is paid to what you scribe here - such is the price of success. So, be careful.

The most effective way to put Sacramento on notice is to become NRA's loyal army on the ground. This thread is not copesetic with that practice or effectively lobbying in defense of the Second Amendment. (and I won't post in it again)
