CA SB1160 Annual Registration of ALL firearms

Is this for real? Calif Senate Bill 1160 is being discussed about an annual registration of ALL your firearms. Targeting a 2025 implementation. $1000 penalty on every infraction, I know it isn't law yet, but come on man....this is getting beyond stupid. I saw this on a youtube. Seems legit as I did a quick qoogle search on this as well. SMH!!!
