Second Annual Memorial Scholarship Trout Derby! Armed Forces Day May 19, 2012

Hello All,

I figured I would post the info for the following trout derby so fellow CalGunner's can join in the fun if they want.

This coming Saturday (Armed Forced Day), May 19 2012, there is going to be a memorial trout derby at McAlpine Lake near San Juan Bautista, CA. The derby is in honor of LCpl Jeramy Ailes USMC (deceased 11/15/04 Anbar Prov Iraq).

Here are the particulars:
Derby Fees

Adult Pass 13yrs up . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $35
Youth Pass 12yrs & under . . . . . . . . . . . . $25
Day Pass (No Fishing) . . . . . . . . . . . . $17
Toddlers/Infants (2yrs & under) . . . . . . . . . . . .Free

Adult limit 5 lbs, Youth limit 3 lbs.
Adult & Youth: $5 per lb over limits.

All children must remain in the immediate care of an adult at all times.

Prize Categories

Adults/Teens/Children Grand Prize
Largest Trout by Weight $300

Children's Age Category Prizes
(3-6) (7-9) (10-12)
Lightest Trout by Weight
(Each Age Category)

Barbeque Lunch will be served immediately following the Derby!
Prizes to Winners will be awarded at that time!.

Don't Forget!

Fishing Pole and Stringer are required. Pole rentals are available in the General Store if neccessary.

6 am. -- Check-In
7 am -11 am -- Fishing Derby

BTW I will be there. Just look for the short stocky white guy wearing shorts with the scottish tartan tattoo on the right calf.
