      Just think of all the summer jack rabbit and eating ground squirrel threads on here and it will make sense.


      Now I did a groupon for jack rabbit tags so I got extra but would like to trade for extra toad tags.

        I have a dep permit for ground squirrels i can trade for. I have so many ground squirrels, i don't know what to do with them, my meat grinder and sausage stuffer broke. How am i going to make my famous ground squirrel sausage now?

        Hmmm i guess i can make GS jerky!!! ah ha...ahhhhh haaaaaaa!

          Stick to bull frogs, their good to go and tasty. Don't know about toads.

                  Do you need a .223 to shoot them? I'm curious because the one I shot I used a Mossberg 12 gauge and it disappeared. Don't want one to attack me so should I carry a Glock as backup

                    I'm French and yes, I have eaten frog legs in France, but also in Florida and Singapore. They're still a common delicacy in some parts of Louisiana and Mississippi, I hear.

                    Now I must admit I don't know which species are best. But I can tell you that well-prepared frog legs can be delicious. It's all about preparation. Like chicken, it is quite bland by itself. So it's all about seasoning and cooking.

                      But the question remains, what is the best wine to go with them after you shoot them

                        For a spicy seasoning (like what I had in Singapore, one of the best meals I ever had), I'd go with a Viognier. For something more traditional (like the French version), go with a Chardonnay.

                          Yes i know you can. I actually have the Viongnier. My uncle just bought 20 acres in Long Valley just before the nursery. I will be showing him where your winery is .
