Trade for Hunting Land Access near San Luis Obispo

Looking for wingshooting and long range squirrel shooting around the Central Coast. I am a 65 yr old sporting goods dealer in San Luis Obispo, and would like to trade items you might need at my dealer cost for hunting access. If interested in chatting about it, please PM me and I'll provide a phone and email. Thx, Gary

i tried for years to do a similar deal in exchange for my professional services.

    Look at it this way:
What you are bargaining for is in essence a contract to discharge fire arms on their property (in california,"land of lawyers") with someone they don't know.

What you offer is wholesale price on something they would already have if they wanted it.

The two points of implying they are cheap and stupid coupled with you really not putting anything of value up don't bode well for your proposition.

    just saying.
What do you call the people that abandoned the agenda of John Kennedy and adopted the agenda of Lee Oswald?

    Pronouns: "Dude" and "Playa".

          No FUD please.
In California property owners are not liable for injuries sustained on their land during the course of recreational activities such voluntary hunting, you are on your own. That's a statue in Cali, look it up.

It's the mindset he's up against tony, try to keep up.

You can be sued for anything in California, injury, damage, neighbor doesn't like hunting and makes some claim, hunter rolls his truck and claims land owner didn't warn him that road hasn't been passable since the storm 20 years ago but now he's a quadripelegic.....what would your lawyer advise?, etc, etc.

Statute is one thing and civil is another.

That is only if there is no fee charged. I would imagine traded goods would be considered a fee to hunt.

He is trading nothing but a discount. He is a dreamer. If he traded hunting gear he might have a chance.

Yea well I think you are the only one.. this clown comes in to the hunting and fishing forum , adds nothing except an anonymous solicitation for stuff he knows he won't get . If he had been a contributing member offering help to others or otherwise not looking like a mooch it would be perceived differently

Gary, my advice is you act friendly in your sporting goods store. You will probably find some one local, and looking for sporting goods.

                      That's the thing right there,

it's about people you have an established relationship with and would feel comfortable with you roaming the homestead, i'm not even talking about trying to scam someone.
