What type of fish hook is this?

I can't remember the name of this type of fishing hook. I think it is either Eagle Claw or Gamakatsu brand. It is not a salmon egg, Kahle, or circle hook. I am thinking it might be an octopus hook.

Looks like a gamakatsu Circle Octopus to me. The shape is a circle, the bent back eye is octopus.

The tip and shank look parallel, with an offset. Does Gama make their circles like that? I haven't used their hooks much.

I don't think it is an Octopus, my package is torn but you can make out that it isn't an Octopus, may be Finesse Wide Gap...

The OP's hook offset looks to start before the bend. The Octopus offset is at the tip.

              I see now castgold.

That's a bend that I've seen on plug lures not rubber/jel artificial. Use the appropriate size red c-hook and bend it.

                  Catfishermen Offset Hooks

Seen surffishermen offsetting hooks in Florida. Not sure what they where after with them.

I think it is a cheap hook that the lure company purchased in bulk.

We have been rigging worms like that on the Texas Rig, way before that gut was born, lol.

Here's a cheap bent hook from a cheap tackle kit next to the Finesse Hook:, not c-hook style though:
