Mature forked horn shot in the D13 zone. Took it with my browning 300WSM at 50yds. Had to quarter and pack it out, the quarters at the butcher weighed in at 78lbs (78lbs of meat+40lbs of pack and rifle= one hell of a hike out) not the biggest but deffinantly the hardest to get out!!

Pair of Gadwall from Sunday. One of them was as big as a Sprig or Mallard. They were on the table Sunday night.

There's a mistaken impression that conservatives don't like the environment. We do, we love the environment. We just call it the outdoors and we go there to kill stuff.

Nice redheds. We hardly ever see redheads. I can only recall seeing one shot by our hunting party and that was when I was 7 or 8 years old. Not very common in CA, at least not in the Sac valley.

Saturday - afternoon roosters, bottom one had ~23" tail

Sunday - buddy and I shot almost two limits of ducks then I headed after some chickens...

Monday - he got tired and needed a ride home
