D16: Blocked access to National Forest

OK guys I'm hoping someone here can help me out. I've been trying to access the Mesa Truck Trail in the Cleveland Nat'l Forest, but every road I've found that leads to that trail is closed access behind a locked gate. IF anyone knows of a way to access that part of the mountain without needing a key to a gate, please PM me and lets' try and keep it off the public forum.

What I do want discussed is how is it possible that thousands of acres of national forest are all closed access because of private land holdings within the national forest?!!! How do I go about buying property on one of the main roads into a national forest and then decide to shut it down and not allow access? If I could buy a few acres of property and basically claim everything behind it as mine by limiting access I'd be all for it!!! I say we get a calguns trust together and start buying up land that leads to national forest property and eventually just own the whole mountain!!!

Someone please explain this to me.

There is no explanation. To the lefties in charge, you are a parasite on the land and it is up to their elitist selves to protect the land from you.

No reasoning to it. I have a buddy that has an old land claim in Socal. adjoining blm land. He and his two neighbors have gate keys but no public entry. Go figure ???

It's called hiking/backpacking into the area or use a Mt. bike

Mountain bike! You just gotta go farther than those willing to walk. See if you can find one of those kid trailers on Craigslist. Perfect for a deer and gear. They might have done you a favor if your willing to peddle.

Biking would work except the gates are private property. Even if I could bike around them I'd be trespassing.

At this point I may just charter a helicopter to insert me into the national forest area where nobody else can go.

Oh, weak. Welcome to CA! See if any "mining claims" are available for sale. Then they have to give you access.
