So after wading thru the bad menus on the USGS site, I found a very good interactive map viewer.

You can search by location to get close to whatever you're looking for, select your resolution like 24k for 1:24000, and it has many different years and map details of areas, depending if you're looking for a pure topo map or one that also has trailheads and trails and campsites marked.

Well they have the local area USGS Topo Map that I have hanging on my wall - Eureka, California 1987.

Since it has only part of it on land, and most of it covers the Pacific Ocean - should I have gotten it at a discount when I paid cash money for the map back in the day?
