BLM Land Near LA County for Target Shooting?

Anyone know where to go, or of any good spots?

Call BLM and ask (they might say this), get a map, check the county shooting ordnance, only retrievable targets (no glass), clean up brass or shells, and any other stuff that you see, try to find a secluded area (with a safe backstop) to stay out of public view, leave no trace.

None of the BLM/Forest land in the county is open for general target shooting. There are some exceptions for private property and leased land. For example, A Place to Shoot and Desert Marksmen Rifle and Pistol Club

There's some BLM land just north of Rosamond in Kern County. There's also miles of land Northeast of Mojave but be careful that you aren't within the city limits of California City
