    What is it?

Found this while out hunting last weekend. It's about 10" in total length, and powered by a 9v battery. When I turn it on, it makes a low pitched humming noise. No markings other than a CE sticker. I assume that it's hunting related due to finding it while doing just that. Not an area frequented by humans for any reason other than that.

Hmmm, 10" lenght, 9 volt battery, low humming noise.

Was this item found in a basement hunting area?

It would help if you posted a series of pictures of it, also, larger ones.

Nice racks are much better. You can grab both sides of the rack to help stabilize while mounting.

Asks to have item identified from a single pic. Attaches a pic the size of a postage stamp with about the worst focus ever obtained.

The fail is strong with this one.

Shoot-it hit the nail on the head. Put a bit of metal near the tip and it went nuts.

And as far as the small pic - sorry guys. Had no idea. I posted it the same way I always have with no problem, and I've only viewed this on my phone. It looks pretty much the same as every other picture (size wise) does.

Once you find the object in the ground with the metal detector you can pin point the coin with the hand held in the hole you just dug if its to small to see by eye.
