Abraham and Moses, a subsidiary of Geissele, this is their 4.6" AM-1 in D2 steel, CGN member cgseanp1 is selling them in the shopper for 20% off the manufacture's price.

Just received my AM-1 and I'm stoked! Nice balance, good heft, the grind is well executed, very comfortable grip and the sheath is top quality stacked construction.

It funny, every time I think I'm going to purchase a new blade I stop and ask myself "what will this new knife do that a $15 Mora can't" ~ Haven't bought any knives in over a year...... lol

I'm with you on this one. I was fixed on getting an ESEE Laser Strike as a gift for a couple of twins going in the army, but I think I'm going to go with an AM-1 for both of them now. I just got my engraver today that I'm going to use to get the knives personalized, but I'm pretty stoked to come up with a new knife. One of the gracious forum members here donated 40 to the cause, and another donated 100 for the pair. I got almost the whole thing done here, but don't want to let names out because I'm not sure they want me to. PROPS here though for the awesome guys who donated almost $140 to the cause. I'm putting together a cool little book safe, framed photos of us fishing together as that was really our past time this year after their father passed away about 18-24 months ago. After he died of cancer I kind of took on the mantle as the guy they look up to for the "manly things" that they need done. I've gotten the amazing experience of working with two 18 year olds on their jeep, fishing reels, knives, hunting ducks and more. I've got about another 150-250 bucks worth of stuff to buy for them still if anyone wants to donate to the cause. They really are a worthwhile couple of guys. They love the Lord, hunting/shooting, and fishing. I'll get pics of them up with their new knives when it's all done!!

Because carrying them and using them is at least half the fun for many people. You have a nice ZT in a box... why carry a flimsy harbor freight box cutter? Not arguing, do what you want. It is a production knife, not a $2000 custom. To some people that's like saying you have a freezer full of prime ribeyes but you love looking into the full freezer you filled, so you are gonna eat soy burgers to live. Not that the analogy works real well, because a nice quality knife isn't consumed like that and can last a lifetime. It is still in your collection/freezer, whatever. Some people value it more when it becomes theirs with use. Most collectors do a little of both.

Oh. Sorry for being redundant That never happens here. Everyone does what they want, no argument there.

I carry all my ZT's, but settled on two or three that I really like and fit my hand.

I have four more incoming traditionals that might never cut anything. I get it.

No but that's really sweet! Too bad Benchmade can go kick rocks now (Off-Topic thread on Benchmade). I would be hard pressed to buy another Benchmade ever.

Picked up a ZT 0393, my first ZT.

ZT 0566BW, fast, sure, this is the S35VN one, they're making them in ELMAX now; it's a little slower than the 0350 but I like it's size better than the 0350, I really like their assisted knives.

My first Spyderco, Manix 2 from https://www.knifeworks.com/. I'm impressed so far with Knife Works, ordered on Friday and arrived Monday.

                                Really like this knife.
