I have a few Honey Badgers. They are good knives. The company is South African but the knives are Chinese.

I carry a Kershaw 1990 Brawler in black with a tanto style blade and a polymer grip. I really like it. I have two of them, for when I cannot find one of them. Mostly gets used to open boxes and packages but I am always glad to have it on me. When I don't have it on me, is when I end up needing it for something.

Been switching between a few Bugouts and PM2/PM3’s until I picked up my first Chris Reeve folder.

Now it’s between a large or small Sebenza everyday. Great tools and I love the fit and finish on them. A bit pricey compared to my other folders but worth it and I’ve never looked back.

          WTB used AK MFER.

Just received a Hinderer XM-24. Might just replace my long time edc Zt-200.
DLT has a few XM-24’s in stock.

I'm getting back to this. Basically I want everything my Gerber has but with a better lock. It's otherwise perfect. Gerber didn't think so because they quit making it. The blade is shaped sort of like this:

The smallest of the eight knives in the Paraframe series, the serrated edge Mini is based on the same frame-lock design. Learn more here.

I need serrations for rope and zip-ties.

My blade is 2 3/8" long, folded it's about 3 inches long. The Spydercos I had before were even smaller, believe it or not. No clip on those, just carried loose in my pocket. I lost them all to general thievery, or TSA a couple times. If it's something you carry every day it's easy to forget what's in your pockets, especially when you only fly once a year.

This Benchmade is on sale, but no serrations. It's an inch longer blade than I have now but only 2 ounces. I can't tell what kind of lock it has.

I'll put in for Kershaw. I don't have a serrated one, but they have them. If I'm not mistaken they also have a line called Zero Tolerance. I could get into detail but suffice it to say their customer support is great.

A recent spat involving Benchmade Knife Company, the Oregon City Police Department, and incensed Second Amendment advocates put the American-made knife manufacturer in the political crosshairs.

Has your basic Benchmade axis lock. I’ve abused them for over a dozen years and have yet to get one to fail.

Off-topic but that mini Gerber saved my hide once, while at work. Didn’t realize it at the time but I was parked in a notorious parking lot (gang/projects near south central LA) having my lunch when 7-8 guys tried carjacking me. One dove in my driver’s side window to try to turn my ignition off while other others grabbed my doors. Somehow, in one fluid motion, I pulled the little gerber out my back pocket and swiped it towards his neck (I missed). It caught all their attention when he jumped out my truck and it gave me enough time to floor it with the rest still hanging on! So my vote is the Gerber if you can find another lol. I switched to a serrated Benchmade Griptillian with serrations for the same exact reason. Good luck with your choice.

I'd previously noted my edc: inexpensive Kershaw Shuffle DIY that among other utility sees daily use in the office slicing my fruit & veggie snacks, but yesterday I was pulled into an urgency, bios-flashing 25 servers. Rush job, no tools available to unscrew the 5 phillips-heads on each of the server lids. Pulled the Shuffle from my pocket and carried on.

Have two of them, carry one every day, comes in handy.

I had posted that the customer service was top notch. I had called about a knife I had broken the tip off trying to pry the magazine out of my gun while deer hunting. I told the gal it was my stupidity that did it. Her response was to have me send the broken one back, she'd email back and I could pick out a replacement because they had discontinued the broken one and give me credit towards the replacement. I had bout the broken one at Big 5 for $20, and got $70 credit.

I went on vacation overseas and I was reaching for a pocketknife daily. Each time I reached for it. I'd mention, no pocketknife.

                                I use mine daily.

South Korea was not a place I was comfortable carrying my knife.
