Popping the stock off of it, it breaks down to 30" overall so Ideally, one of those inexpensive Plano cases about 30" long would be great. Has to be hard shell and accept padlocks (more than one) so that it can't be pried open. Smaller the better since it has to go inside my suitcase.
Other option would be a Medium-large suitcase that accepts padlocks to that entire hard suitcase becomes my locked firearms case that I declare. TSA locks are NOT approved for firearms so it has to have padlock lugs.
Thought about a pelican case but a medium size pelican case weights about 30 lbs so it would be impossible to keep under the 50 lb limit. a lighter-weight pelican style case would be good.
I'm in carlsbad and need to do the deel FTF this week.
