I am looking for a good 22 lr rifle. My strong preference is Ruger 10/22. I would like a compact or carbine model. But I would be happy with any with a normal wood stock (I find some of the stocks just too ugly). I don't want, nor can I afford, some custom one that cost $600. Looking more in the $200-$400 depending on condition, "accessories", etc
