Please ping me if you have a plain jane A2 upper you're looking to sell. Don't need anything match, stainless, or fancy, just an identical upper to a military M-16A2 (bird cage, 20" chrome-lined phosphate barrel, junky plastic handguards, A2 front sight post). I'd strongly prefer an A2 upper with built in carry handle, but I would probably be interested in an flat-top with removable carrying handle as well. Plus if it comes with the original BCG so ideally I'll force myself to care about bolts matching chambers. Likewise, if you have an A2 stock kit I'd be interested in that as well.
Just putting together an A2 rifle to practice individual weapons qualification on so don't want to spend a ton on anything fancy and no one seems to make a simple A2 upper right now for a reasonable price.
