Background:
I ordered this FAL SA58 from DS Arms in 2016. They assembled it according to my requested features, parts, and custom gunsmith work, and then shipped it to me four months later. This rifle has spent the past nine years in my safe. Since I have no plans on taking it out again to the range, I would rather let someone else enjoy it.
Condition:
- The metal is excellent with no visible dings or scratches.
- The bore is bright and shiny with crisp lands. There are no erosions in the bore. There is no fouling.
- The pins are unmarred.
- The markings are clear.
- Mechanics: The action functions properly.
Features:
- DSA FAL SA58 drop forged Type II 4140 steel upper receiver with carry handle cut (MPN 0292CHC-F-REC, the CHC stands for Carry Handle Cut; the F stands for Forged). Life expectancy of an FAL cast receiver is 75,000 rounds vs. billet 90,000 rounds vs. forged 80,000 to 100,000 rounds.
- 18” traditional Steyr profile, 4140 steel barrel for precision and accuracy. It features a bipod cut, sling swivel cut, 6-groove button rifling, and 1:10” RH rifling twist. The barrel is chambered for 7.62x51mm NATO (MPN 00118-916X24-R). Fired exactly 59 shots through it. All were 146-grain Ball, Hirtenberger Austrian surplus ammo, Lot 22 HP 12/79. I was able to hit bullseye at 100 yards with open sights first cold bore shot.
- DSA FAL SA58 light weight lower trigger housing machined from solid 7075-T6 forged aluminum featuring a hardcoat anodize per MIL-A-8625F, Type III, Class 2 finish (MPN 061P).
- Traditional PARA buttstock ready to be made CA compliant by placing three spacers around the spring and axle on the PARA stock to keep it from folding.
- DSA FAL SA58 metric folding cocking handle (MPN 046FOLDNOCUT-A).
- DSA FAL SA58 PARA metric sand cut bolt carrier. Machined from solid 4140 steel (MPN 033P-SC).
- 3 1/2" U.S. made, 12-hole muzzle break with 9/16 x 24” LH thread pitch (MPN FAL-5697).
- Black nylon, adjustable 2-point patrol rifle sling, 1.25” wide with steel hardware (MPN RC7304).
- Matt black DuraCoat finish.
Specs:
- Overall length is 37 1/2 inches. Folded length is 28 1/2 inches.
- Rifle weighs ~13.8 lbs. including optics, scope mount, bipod, sling, cheek rest, and empty magazine.

This is a package deal. I won't sell any accessories separately. I am not interested in any trades. I listed the return policy as "AS IS - No 1, 2 or 3-day inspection period, no refund or exchange" simply because I don't want this rifle returned to me when it got damaged at your FFL dealer's shop or in your hands. I won't let this rifle leave my sight. You are more than welcome to come to Sarasota, FL and inspect the rifle.
No payment plan. No layaway. Full payment via PP (F&F) or Zelle or USPS Money Order or Wells Fargo Money Order or Cash (by mail of if face-to-face) are the only forms of payment I accept. I don't accept Cash App, Venmo, Cryptocurrency or Cashier's Checks. Deadline for receipt of funds is five (5) business days.
I am open to a private party transfer to a Florida resident over the age of 21 who possess a valid Florida driver's license or ID card and a Florida CWFL, and is not prohibited from possessing a firearm. For everyone else, the transfer has to be processed through an FFL dealer (no exceptions regardless whether Type 03 FFL, CCW holder, active/qualified retired LEO, active military or veterans).
For serious/decisive buyers who don't reside in Central West Florida, once I receive your full payment via PayPal (F&F) or Zelle or Money Order, I will text you a screenshot confirming receipt of funds. Within two (2) business days after the funds clear, I will have my FFL ship the rifle to your selected FFL dealer and text to your cell phone videos and pictures of the package content, shipping label, tracking number, and receipt. I will provide no insurance for the shipment unless you specifically request insurance, and you also pay all added fees for such insurance. You accept responsibility for any loss, damage, or seizure, commencing at the time I place the package in custody of the carrier. I will cooperate in every reasonable manner in the event of any incident that may require submission of an insurance claim associated with shipping. How can you trust that I will ship the rifle to your FFL dealer after you pay?
