2nd Rifle - Remington 700 .308 put together on a Long Action Receiver.

I started putting together this rifle a while back... I was interested in seating 208's long and still mag feed but didn't want to do a full-on build to experiment with it.

I've not been able to shoot in over a year but took it to the range last week and was able to shoot under 1/2" with Black hills 175. That was single loading as I had forgotten the mag in my other bag, so I was coming up off the rifle every round and had to push the round into the chamber while supporting it through the mag well (pain in the ***!).

Anyway, maybe I'm making excuses for not shooting better but I was able to shoot a few groups where the holes were touching and smaller then my thumb pad.

Here's what it would likely cost to assemble the parts and have them modded for this configuration. $1385-ish.
